Famine-Era Films To Screen in Metro New York

I leave for New York this week in preparation of the film screenings that take place from New York to Detroit through Philly, Baltimore, Hamilton in Canada and Rochester. We have produced two feature films based on true stories from the Famine era. The first, "The Minnitts of Anabeg," will screen in the Aisling Center in Yonkers on Wednesday, July 15. "The Cormack Brothers" screens on July 22.

We are screening to an Irish-American audience at this stage, taking the films and their emotive stories on the road to showcase our work. Then it will be more widely available. Though made on a micro budget, they are strong productions that tell a powerful story from an important time in Irish history. More screenings to come, but for now hope to see you there.

Alan, I suggest you create listings within TheWildGeese.Irish's events calendar to help promote these screenings. Use this link: http://thewildgeese.irish/events/event/new?cancelTarget=http%3A%2F%... and be sure to include a strong image for each.
