'Truth Within the Fiction': Q&A with Author Billy O'Callaghan

Posted on November 28, 2017 at 11:30am 0 Comments

Book Review: 'Girl on the Leeside' by Kathleen Anne Kenney

Posted on July 9, 2017 at 1:00pm 8 Comments

Because I once lived in a small town in Connemara, at the gateway of the Irish-speaking area called the Gaeltacht, I look for those novels that depict the region as it is, for once one has spent significant time there, its ways and means register in the soul with perpetual resonance, leaving one forever nostalgic for…

Book Review: 'The Dead House' by Billy O'Callaghan

Posted on June 21, 2017 at 10:30am 7 Comments

I’ve been following author Billy O’Callaghan’s career with rapt enthusiasm, since I fortuitously came across him online, last year.  sorry about the confusion Claire.   80 and a bit dense is my excuse . lol

hope you had a very merry CHRISTMAS and a happy New Year.  By the way, do you know of any savvy DNA members that I might check in with ?  I just found out that my DNA test has been evaluated with a more current method which was identified as = R  L226 . Folks here in Florida, USA say that it is an ancient blood line going back to 300 ad.   any suggestions ?
