Claire

I read this book and wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it. You have a great eye for the place and the people. For example, nothing in an Irish rural kitchen matches....to the hard consonants that mark one character's speech from the other. Your observations about the place and the people were mesmerizing to  me, stirring so many memories of Galway of my own. I (once upon a time) lived in a flat on Dominick Street...

A friend/organizer in one of my book discussion groups is reading it now, and I hope she will like it too and suggest the club read it. I will keep  you posted.

Thank you so much, Susan! I'd love it if you could copy and paste just what you wrote to Dancing to an Irish Reel's page on Amazon ( or wherever else it was that you acquired it!) You know us authors: we LOVE reviews! And now I'm wondering where on Dominick street you flat was! Thank you so much for writing!
