The "Great Day" is approaching again.

On St. Patrick's Day all around the world, the Irish and those who love all things Irish will be "going green" for the day. There will be parades in all the expected locales, especially those with large diaspora populations, like New York, London and Sydney, but there are also celebrations in unlikely places, as well. There is a St. Patrick's Ball in Dubai, a parade in Moscow, and a street festival in Singapore, and this year, making its debut, a St. Patrick's Day parade in Hong Kong. But let's face it, the best way to celebrate Ireland, whether you have roots that go back to it or not, is to travel there and experience it for yourself. Watch this short video from www.Ireland.com and you're sure to feel a yearning to return if you've been before, or get there for the first time if you haven't.

Everywhere else in the world may be green on St Patricks Day ; but not hear in the UK ; only small pockets of Irish Communities celebrate St Patricks Day .
