Two days ago this radio documentary was launched by RTE in Ireland to great applause about P. S. Gilmore, 1829-1892, with the help of great historians like TheWildGeese.irish's own Gerry Regan; New York Irish History Roundtable's Frank Naughton and John Ridge, and Ellis Island historian and curator Barry Moreno. Below is the link to the RTE publicity around the Documentary .
This documentary will be heard in Ireland to a listenership of 150,000+; a download podcast of approaching 500,000 in the next year (since the weekend it has been downloaded 40,000 times); across Canada on CBC Radio and elsewhere. It will certainly increase the awareness of the talent that the Irish contributed to the New World as a consequence of The Great Irish Famine.

Please enjoy.
