There's going to be two San Francisco screenings of "Shalom Ireland," a documentary film about Ireland's remarkable, yet little known Jewish community.

During the Beth Israel Judea screening, we will show a short sneak preview clip from "The Long Ride," a soon-to-be released documentary about the Immigrant Workers Freedom Ride. Everyone is welcome!

When  I was doing all my research to write my Grand mother story - That's Just How it Was ' - I was intrigued  to learn that she was absolutely correct abut the Jewish Community . As a child ; one doe snot tend to listen if the subject does not relate to ones' everyday life . 

They too were discriminated against - It was Daniel O'Connell who stood up for their right as week as all the poor peasants - and the tenant farmers.
