Just want to be the first to welcome you here to The Wild Geese. Was just looking at your memoir there on Amazon, and I must say it sounds intriguing. I will be checking that out soon enough.

I have heard of Owen Rogers, in fact I've been told we are neighbors here but I don't think we've actually met yet. We will soon, I am sure. I am from a place called Altamuskin, in County Tyrone. It's between Sixmilecross and Ballygawley. I've been living in New York now for twenty five years, and loving it. Thanks for the plug Gerry. I might be doing an online chat here on Monday. I'll post details as I know more. I'm off now to do a couple of interviews for the afternoon. If any of you are on the east coast here I will be featured in both The Irish Echo and The Irish Voice newspapers tomorrow. The articles should be online a couple of days after that. Our local library has an Open Mike night in which people read what they've written. I'm trying to get them to consider a "Words I Wish I Had Written" evening where people read from another author. If they agree to it, I'll read from the last scene in That's That. If I did that, it might explain the tears I shed at the beach at Avon-By-The Sea, NJ this morning as I finished your excellent memoir.
