“Belfast to Boston” with Colin Broderick & Michael Patrick Macdonald Thursday September 12, 7pm at the American Irish Historical Society, 5 Avenue and 80 Street - Free Admission. As part of ORIGIN’S 1st IRISH 2013, NY’S ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF IRISH THEATRE, two magical writers embark on an evening of truth telling from A Family Story from Southie, Michael Patrick MacDonald's recounts the guileless and powerful memories of a precarious life in a Boston ghetto as Colin Broderick renders the conflict in the North of Ireland with an intimacy and honesty in That’s That.
Words cannot express how much I regret that living 'on the other side of the world' precludes me from attending what promises to be an amazing and informative evening.
