The Wades all come from Tralee originally, I think, tho' I was born in Dublin.
Wonderfully moving! Thanks.
Des, Belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours.
A very moving and wonderful song, Des. As would be said; ' You got it right ! ".All the accolades here are such that it speaks for many of us and the greatest tribute is the request from JM Sullivan to be allowed to sing this song here in his community in Florida. Way To Go, Des !!!
Thank you Patrick - it is heartening and exciting and I feel honoured that people I don't know perform and share the ideas my songs with people on the other side of the world. Thank you again and have a quick look at my site www.deswade.com for other Celtic influenced songs of mine you might like - So Softly in the Twilight, The Sign of the Claddagh, O Ro Tir na nOg and, for a complete change of pace, Thomas (Bang, Bang) Dudley.
It's the spirit of this stellar delivery that gets me. Such an emphatic, compelling personality in this, delivered with perfect, resonant pitch, no less. Now here stands a man using his God-given gift! What a contribution to TWG!
Thank you Claire Fullerton for those kind comments about my song - it certainly came from the heart and obviously resonated with you which is very, very pleasing .Thanks again.
