Spirit of Giving: TWG Play Santa for Irish-American Family

In the spirit of giving, The Wild Geese community has adopted an Irish-American family from the Aisling Irish Community Center in metro New York. The family that we have chosen consists of a 13-year-old girl, an 11-year-old boy, and a 9-year-old boy, and mother and father.

The 13-year-old girl is a size small-medium.
The 11-year-old boy is a size 12.
The 9-year-old boy is a size 7-8.
The mother is a size medium.
The father is a size XL.

We invite our fellow members to purchase an age-appropriate toy or clothing for the kids and a gift for mom and Dad, so that each member of the family can experience a truly blessed (and somewhat Irish) Christmas.  When you purchase an item, please write it in the comments section so others will know what has been acquired. We will update the blog with the item stating if it is clothing or a toy. Please mail your gift unwrapped by December 14th to, noting the child or parent it is intended for:

GAR Media / The Wild Geese
Attn: Wild Geese Santa
38-11 Ditmars Blvd, #193
Astoria NY 11105-1803

We will assemble a few local members of 'The Flock' to wrap and present the gifts to the staff at Aisling just prior to Christmas Day.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh for partaking in the giving spirit of the season. WG
