If you haven't done so already, take a few minutes to flip through the photographs posted here by members of The Wild Geese community. There is quite a variety of photos, ranging from landscapes to historical figures -- both in "The Motherland" and from points across the globe which have been touched by the Irish diaspora.
We want to encourage more of these excellent photos to roll in from you, the members of The Wild Geese. Every photo submitted over each contest period will be assessed by The Wild Geese team; the ones deemed to be of the highest quality will be shortlisted for a popular vote by the membership. The photographer who captured the image receiving the most number of "Likes" from among the membership will win a nice prize from The Wild Geese prize closet.
Naturally, we ask that all photographs be the original work of the member and not subject to any copyright restrictions. Please give a title to each photo and a brief description providing any interesting details which may add to the appeal of the photo.
The next round of the contest returns soon, so get snapping!
