If you haven't had the chance to get to know New Wild Geese members Corey & Liam, drop on over and say hello!

Liam Hughes is a Jewelry designer who was reusing and recycling long before it became the thing to do. He takes shards of discarded, broken china and pottery dishes and works them into stunning pieces of wearable art. He creates these pieces in both his Michigan based studio and at his County Tipperary Guesthouse, Knockahopple Cottage. If you want the most unique Ireland experience, book in with Liam and Corey. It is an experience like none other.

As if jewelry designing and Knockahopple don't keep him busy enough, Liam is also an extremely talented singer/musician. You can find his CD, Lemon Twist, on CDbaby.com.

Corey Taratuta is a freelance graphic designer, blog creator and App creator. He has created Ireland Travel Kit ,which is a community of Irish travel experts and enthusiasts who share their favorite off-beat and unique locations.

I have the pleasure of calling these two wonderful guys my friends. We 'met" whilst helping out in travel forums on two Irish travel websites, IrelandYes.com and Irelandexpert.com.

Together Liam and Corey are Irishfireside.com. On IrishFireside.com, you will find delightful blogs, podcasts and photos that speak of the Irish culture and the diaspora.

In January and February of 2009, Liam and Corey set off on a Irish-American Roadtrip in their wee RV they dubbed Ita. I had the pleasure of being their guide during their time in Southern Arizona. We journeyed down to Ajo, Arizona in search of a friend of Liam's father. In a small roadside Cafe in Ajo, we chanced upon the most delightful pair:

For 40 days, they traveled the United States in search of the Irish-American story. You can check out all of their vlogs, blogs, photos and podcasts here. You might even see someone one you know. ;-)

This is great Bit! It's always great for our community to be able to put names to faces! I came into contact with Irish Fireside after my trip to Ireland. When I got back, I dove into the net looking for all things Irish to get involved in and one of the things I found was was The Irish Fireside! They were asking how you were keeping the trip alive after visiting Ireland and I left a message with how I was doing that myself and it was broadcasted at their site along with many other messages! Now I have gotten to know them 'virtually' and hope one day to make it realtime ;) A truly wonderful pair of gentlemen, for sure! :D

They are  the genuine article! SO very warm and friendly. I am proud to say that they are my friends. I keep my fingers crossed every January that they will make their way down in to Tucson as they wend their way over towards California with their amazing jewelry.

That was you in the video driving Liam around? How did you initially meet the guys?

I met Liam and Corey through Irelandyes.com , Michele Erdvig's  Irish travel site. We were all part of her "irregulars" who offered assistance in her forum to people who asked for help in tweaking their travel plans.

They stayed with me during the Tucson/Ajo portion of the 2009 Roadtrip. Yes, that was me driving them.
