I found it in this video -- that is, the emotional heart of the wrenching emigrant experience -- imagining a last glimpse of forebears at the vast, untamable ocean, harboring its own fears and hopes and always beckoning. This poignant, striking video fills me with both sadness and no small amount of wonder. Bravo, bravo!

The Wild Atlantic way  ;  oh how poignant / sad and overwhelmingly emotional to watch now many ,many generations later how our loved ones crossed the oceans to find work.

In many ways somewhat similar to the many thousands of migrants and refugees who are fleeing war torn countries ; only to be met with hostility /brutality /ignorance of all the reasons why these poor people are putting their lives at risk daily.

Tears flow down my cheeks as I watch the daily news bulletins ; the horror of it all feels with with sadness for what our loved ones had to do ; to put a roof over their heads and feed and cloth their families.

The Famine ................................ with all its terrible consultations of starvation .;; too,too awful
