While we were still in setup before broadcasting she started to sing that haunting song for her sound check and I immediately got goosebumps..that was a great start, Gerry was right she really is touching something deep within all of us thank you Fran!

Amazing, Frances, you are indeed a multitalented lady - thank you!  I was fascinated to hear the word 'Sibin' being pronounced in English - in South Africa, the words 'shebeen' has long been used by our isiZulu people to refer to a pub in their culture! If anyone can assist me with 'finding' the diacritics (those ubiquitous slashes above many Gaelic words), I'd be delighted!
