Presenting the 1916 Proclamation Set to Music

I have always loved these words and what they aspire to, from the 1916 Proclamation:

The Republic guarantees religious and civil liberty, equal rights and equal opportunities to all its citizens, and declares its resolve to pursue the happiness and prosperity of the whole nation and of all its parts, cherishing all of the children of the nation equally.

1916 Proclamation

So it was a great joy to be able to set them to music for performance in Dublin on Tuesday, November 24th, 2015. The link above is a live recording of this world premier, which I also conducted.
