This is a composite photo of three stained glass windows shot at the parish church in the Gaeltacht village of Dún Chaoin (aka Dunquin), Dingle Peninsula, Co. Kerry. Dún Chaoin was the birthplace of the famous author Peig Sayers and just across the sound from her future Blasket Island home. There was no signage to identify the church. When I asked the locals its name, the response was "church"! The glass work rivals any/all others I have seen in greater Europe. It has the most breathtaking beautiful antique glass colors and the most exquisite details. Best of all, you can get very, very close to it for a truly religious experience. The Celtic Cross in the background was snapped at the church cemetery. The ogham is my signature.
