An Afternoon of Irish Gaelic
(Tráthnóna na Gaeilge)
The Circle will offer an Irish language program at the Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels in a half day event. All are invited to attend this day from those with no Irish to native speakers. Come and be with us if you are curious about the language, want to improve or use your Irish or to help learners develop their skills. It promises to be an enjoyable afternoon with classes, two lectures and time for conversation, refreshments and pastries in between. Three fluent and gifted teachers from Ireland will be teaching the classes and delivering the lectures: including Hilary Mhic Suibhne, Irish Language Lecturer, NYU; Muireann Ní Chuív, Irish Language Teacher, Irish Arts Center, NY and Caoimhe Nic Giollarnáith, Irish Language Teacher, Irish Arts Center, NY.

Location: Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center located at 6 Lake Ave, Danbury, CT

Directions: By car, the Center is located one mile from I-84. Take I-84 from the east or west. Get out exit 4 and make a left onto Lake Ave. The Center is one mile on the right.
By train, there is a train station in Danbury as well as another 10 miles away in Brewster or Purdys, NY. Please contact us for transportation.
