Join us for a LIVE Wild Geese Community Chat session with Darach Ó Tuairisg of Fíbín Teo, a unique puppetry and drama company based in the heart of the Connemara Gaeltacht.

Is comhlacht puipéadóireachta agus drámaíochta muid atá lonnaithe i gConamara. Bunaíodh Fíbín Teo i 2003. Ba é an príomhaidhm a bhí agus atá ag an gcomhlacht i gcónaí ná drámaíocht shiamsúil d’ardchaighdeán a chur ar fáil do dhaoine óga trí mheán na Gaeilge. Go dtí seo tá 30 seó léirithe ag Fíbín do dhaoine óga agus d’éirigh leo an sprioc a bhí acu ón gcéad lá a bhaint amach i ngach ceann acu sin. Tá leas á baint acu as na teicnící is nuálaí ó shin i leith.

Fíbín Teo. is a puppetry and drama company based in Connemara. Fíbín was founded in 2003 with the intent of providing exciting, entertaining and energetic theatre of the highest professional standards to a young audience through the medium of Irish.  One of their aims is to prove that Irish Language Theatre could be attractive and appealing to a young sophisticated audience, and that drama "as Gaeilge" could adequately deal with the complexities of modern society, and could adequately reflect and express every aspect of contemporary society: to prove to young people that an Ghaeilge can be a vibrant, living and relevant language.
