Event Description
I celebration of Irish-American Heritage Month, North Carolina Public Broadcasting stations will air the following:
On Sunday, March 9, we have Nature "Ireland's Wild River" at noon to 1:30 p.m., and Judy Collins: Live in Ireland airing from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Currently, Judy's show is scheduled to repeat on March 19 at 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., but of course that could change.
And we also have Heartbeat of Home, which comes from the producers of Riverdance, airing on Saturday, March 8, at 9 to 11 p.m., and repeating on Tuesday, March 11, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. This features "dynamic elements of traditional Irish, Latin and Afro-Cuban music and dance."

Hey Danny, too far from home for me, but a thought: Any chance of watching one or more of these on a big screen, at a bar or library or theatre, some supportive venue, and sharing the viewing experience with other local members (or future members) of The Wild Geese.

That is what I am kinda thinking about. May be too late to gather any audience at this point in time but certainly, since I am on speaking terms with Shannon perhaps future offerings can be set in local theaters, etc...... for the public to attend. I'll keep everyone informed now that I am aware of access to the Events area of the website. I also plan to use Craigslist to to announce whatever they will permit. Also my FB page will be hevily used too!.
