The Irish Arts & Writers Festival brings together Irish writers and audiences in the historic and intimate town of Los Gatos, CA  for an arts and culture festival held in several venues over three days. Additional events in are scheduled for Berkeley, Oakland and San Francisco. The 2018 line up includes Pulitzer Prize winning poet Paul Muldoon; Ireland's leading columnist and literary editor Fintan O'Toole; Van Morrison's Belfast​; Performance by Van's daughter Shana Morrison and Caledonia; songs of the Northern Irish Troubles; Frederick Douglass's time in Ireland; Ireland's Great Hunger and the Irish Diaspora, a film narrated by Gabriel Byrne; In America Tales from Trump country book signing by RTÉ Washington correspondent Caitríona Perry; art, dance, poetry and more.
