This Thursday (February 13) at 5:00 p.m. Eastern (U.S.) Time, we'll once again open the "doors" to The Wild Geese Virtual Síbín to hang out with creative entrepreneur Annette Counihan.  Annette will be joining us in The Wild Geese Virtual Síbín to discuss the rich history and charming traditions associated with the Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival, now in its 120th year.

Annette is a single business owner originally from Dublin, Ireland who has lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for 30 years.  Annette's business, Cupid's Crusade, is a unique travel company catering to singles of both genders. They offer a variety of vacations to Ireland.  The 2013 Crusade paid a visit the town of love -- Lisdoonvarna, County Clare.  Once a year, this town comes alive with the legendary Matchmaking Festival.  Singles from all over the world gather to attend this event.  They come to meet Willie Daly, a traditional matchmaker, whose family has been matchmaking for as long as the festival has been in existence.

The Crusader adventure is a seven-day adventure that begins with an evening at Daly's, a traditional pub.  There you will find Willie the Matchmaker. He will have a private meeting with you and review your profile. You will have time to discuss anything you wish.  From there, you'll also experience some of the most quintessential Irish locations, including the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren.

The next Cupid's Crusade begins in Ireland on September 16, 2014.
