I am a member of Rockingham Catalpa Adventure, a community group that is a sub-committee of Tourism Rockingham in Western Australia.

We held our first Catalpa Festival on Easter Monday, 2023. This was very successful. We hold the festival because the escape is an important part of Rockingham's heritage. The Fenian escapees fled Fremantle jail to Rockingham where they boarded a whaler and rowed to the Catalpa, an American whale boat hired by Fenians in Boston USA to make the rescue.

I have a personal copy of "The Catalpa Rescue", broadcast by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation on September 11, 2010. I am trying to get permission from Perpetual Entertainment to show this CD publicl, but that's proving difficult.

I raise two questions:

1. Can anybody help me get the permission to show my CD?

2. Does anyone have a good video about the escape that we can show at our 2024 Catalpa Festival?
