I enjoy the site, and I'm fairly active on it. (Full disclosure: my husband does do some work for the site, so I'm not an unbiased opinion!) I find that they cover interesting topics that aren't on the radar of some of the other Irish diaspora sites. It's a bit more serious than, say Irish Central, which has a lot of pop-culture stuff that just doesn't interest me. I like to read, so I mostly come on for the book reviews and I also enjoy the lovely photographs. It's a good way to "meet" interesting people and learn more about my adopted home (I'm from America originally). Hope you enjoy the site. :) ~Kelly
Thanks very much for the compliments on my photos, Matt, but I'm just an amateur who occasionally gets a decent shot. I was taught, if you want to take beautiful pictures, the first step is to stand in front of something beautiful. Ireland makes that first step very, very easy. :-)
