Hindsight is always 20 / 20, so I'm bemused at pundits who pompously and smugly second guess the call to go out on Easter Monday. I admire the courage of those who hearkened to the siren call for freedom, "to strike a blow for Ireland." The vengeful British response to the Rising underscores how incompatible and poisonous that relationship was. Ger
