While filming the walk to Minard Castle I was delighted to come across this gateway to another world, not far removed from houses and homes, a short walk along a tree lined path to one of Ireland's iconoclastic Holy Wells. This in favor of Saint John, feast day 29th August, said to cure bodily ailments but more importantly, brings one back to themselves and in contact with the spiritual world, a time for reflection and a place for prayer as I knealt down by the Holy Well and found rest.

Wonderful! Glad you took the time to visit this quiet, spiritual place so we could visit it as well! Thanks!
