Castle, tell me about Gosling's Ginger Beer? Does it go with roast turkey?

What might you recommend from your Irish portfolio as an ideal accompaniment to Thanksgiving festivities?

I know I will certainly be looking for Brady's Irish Cream Liqueur in my local liquor store to bring a mellow finish to the day's celebration. My Dad, now passed, and I often had a Brady's nightcap, toasting our friendship and Mother Ireland!

Gosling’s Ginger Beer is a refreshing and thirst quenching drink which can accompany many drinks in our portfolio to make them into a flavor busting drink. The original ginger beer mix is with our Gosling’s Black Seal Rum to make a Dark n’ Stormy but try it with our Boru Irish Vodka for a Dublin Mule or with our Clontarf Irish Whiskey for a Celtic Buck….. all beautiful and flavorful drinks to get your taste buds revved up for your Thanksgiving feast.

After you have eaten and the waistline is bulging, a Brady's Irish Cream on the rocks or even our signature Irish Coffee made with Clontarf Irish Whiskey and Brady's Irish Cream is a perfectly sweet and satisfying dessert.

I can post a beautiful recipe if people would like to try one?

CB, recipes are very much appreciated here. Check out our Irish Kitchen Group, by the way. It seems right up your alley!

Is Gosling's Ginger Beer alcoholic, BTW? What percent alcohol, if so? Where can one buy a six-pack? What's the package options for purchasing this intriguing flavor sensation?

Castle Brands Do you have any UK/European suppliers?

Gosling's Ginger Beer is non-alcoholic apart from in the state of NY where it is 1% alcohol. The reason behind this is because in NY to be sold through the same distributor and to be available in liquor stores it has to have some alcohol in the product.

It is a stronger version of ginger ale (approx 4 times stronger) so you can really taste the zing of the ginger coming through. It is available in regular or diet and comes in 6 pack cans and also in 1 Liter bottles.

It would depend on where you live but it should be available in your local liquor store or Whole Foods. As I said earlier it is fantastic for mixing with everything from bourbon to vodka.

Ruthie, yes we do have UK suppliers but it would depend on what products you are looking for. Have a look on our website http://castlebrandsinc.com/ and I can let you know the availability.

All of your products look very good, I would love to find your Celtic Honey Liqueur. and Brady’s Irish Cream Liqueur, both to drink and to use in decadent Xmas dishes. :)

Not known for my cooking skills and always looking for shortcuts I have found that you can turn any chocolate cake mix into a delicious ‘Brady’s Irish Cream’ cake by substituting one cup of ‘Brady’s Irish Cream’ for one cup of the liquid then top off with:

 ‘Brady’s Irish Cream’ Frosting

Add 1 tablespoon of ‘Brady’s Irish Cream’ for every 1 cup of chocolate frosting.

Beat the ‘Brady’s Irish Cream’ into the chocolate frosting with an electric mixer

To increase the ‘Brady’s Irish Cream’ flavor, add more liqueur 1 tablespoon at a time until it reaches your desired flavor.

I’d like to know what measures of ‘Brady’s Irish Cream’ Maxine of cartoon fame would use for this recipe.

That looks fabulous Belinda. Great tip Thank you... I have several recipes I'm thinking of converting ..I just need to try them with Brady's Irish cream but I'm fairly sure they will work.. Hopefully I buy some locally'. I have some lovely recipes for honey cake that I actually used for my wedding cake..and I think adding some Celtic Honey Liqueur  to the cake would give it a nice flavour and kick !

Love me some proper ginger beer, and Gosling's sounds like some proper ginger beer.  Going to have to acquire some of these spirits for my recipes, as well.
