We bring you exciting news as our friends and Wild Geese Irish Heritage Partners Fíbín Teo, will be bringing their exciting show "Réiltín" to New York City.  Fíbín are the first ever Irish company to premiere a show in the Irish language in New York City.  We're confident that many from our healthy contingent of Wild Geese from the greater NYC region will be interested in checking out this groundbreaking performance.  Here are all the details:

RÉILTÍN
Written and directed by Paul Mercier

16 – 20 September, 2014
Arlene’s Grocery
95 Stanton Street, New York City, NY 10002

Fíbín are delighted to be making their first appearance at the 1st Irish Festival, with a world premier of, Réiltín.

Told in Fíbín’s trademark visual style, Réiltín is a coming of age story of a young Irish woman in the middle of an economic crisis. Réiltín is 20 years old. She is a fallout girl, an economic casualty. This is not how her life was supposed to be - she was destined to be a singer. She needs to escape her dead-end world before it is too late. She is back to perform the gig of her life that will decide her future.

The performance marks the first Irish language production ever to premiere in the U.S. It features the amazing and powerful Dublin singer Clíona Ní Cliosáin.

This dynamic collaboration between well-known Irish writer and director Paul Mercier, composer Simon Noble, and singer Clíona Ní Chiosáin is a culmination of four months of development between the artists. Réiltín is the most exciting Irish cultural experience to come to the U.S. in recent years with a soundtrack that reflects a new Ireland. Accompanied by immersive visuals this is a show not to be missed!
