Visiting Ireland is a dream... one so far unrealized. But it isn't like I've never been there... only that I haven't been there in this lifetime.  I have desperately wanted to go to Ireland since I first heard of it as a young child. It is still as though the places I lived throughout my life have never really been home. Forever my heart has been in exile... because that green island that was once the very edge of the known world was where I belonged. Ireland. I may never live there this lifetime, but I long to walk its soil and know that I returned to pay homage to the land where I have always belonged.

A trip to Ireland is in my future and I have to hurry since my span this lifetime is more then halfway through. It would be a lovely thing, a fulfillment to win a trip... but I will someday, somehow stand on that beloved island.
