Now that the contest's entry deadline has come and gone, I wanted to post this special thank you to every participant and to the sponsors who have given one of us, along with a friend or family member, the opportunity to experience (for the first time or once again) the spectacular wild west of Ireland.

            I have read each and every blog and viewed all of the attached pictures--sometimes more than once--and I was absolutely delighted by them all.

            Not only did these very well written, amusing, and [obviously] deeply heartfelt stories give me good advice and direct me to see other places when I do return to Ireland, but they reinforced in me an even stronger love for everything Irish. 

            Furthermore, I also gained the utmost admiration and respect for my newly-acquired and very talented like-minded Wild Geese.

            The intense passion that shone through with each and every one of your stories has made me prouder of my Irish heritage, if that is even possible.

            My entry blog was a first for me--this is only my second!--but I found it so easy to write about a passionate subject of mine.  After reading your wonderful stories and seeing the pictures attached, your passion and love for Ireland was quite apparent, too.

            So, thank you again for taking the time to pen your wonderful stories for all of us to read, and good luck to each and every one of you in winning the trip.
