Just wanted to take a minute to welcome you here to The Wild Geese.  Hope you've had a chance to look around at some of the great articles, discussions, resources, etc. available on the site.  To me, the best part of this community is the ability for all members to add to the experience here with our own blogs, photos, discussions, and so on.

Hope to have the chance to hear your own "Irish story" here in a blog at some point in the not-too-distant future.  Members of this site love to hear about one another's backgrounds.
