Just wanted to take a minute to welcome you here to The Wild Geese.  Hope you've had a chance to look around a bit already, but if you haven't, you'll find a wealth of great information, resources, discussions, etc.  And it's growing all the time.

How's the Irish "scene" around where you live?  Where exactly is Hastings?  Part of my "growing up" years were spent in the Tampa Bay area.  

Hope you'll take a few minutes when you have some time to write a blog post to tell us about your own "Irish story" as everyone here loves to learn about the background of other "Wild Geese."
