Hi, Mike.

Just wanted to take a moment to welcome  you here to The Wild Geese.  Glad to have you aboard.  Hope you've had the opportunity to look around a bit already to see what's on offer here.  Loads of great stuff, and even bigger and better things to come.

Perhaps the best part of this community is the emphasis on encouraging all members to contribute their own blogs, photos, discussions, comments, etc.  So, whenever the mood strikes you, please fill us in on some of your own Irish-related interests and your background.

Great to have another of the great O'Connor clan here.  My family and yours had many dealings in Connacht through the centuries.  I'd love to hear what you know about your own lineage, and how you ended up in Montana.  I know there is a sizeable Irish population there, and I'd be interested to hear what kind of community spirit exists there amongst the Irish.
