When I was chaplain at the military base in the South Pacific, Archbishop O'Brien was my boss, head of the Military Vicariate. When he and Archbishop Dolan were elevated to Cardinal, I went to Rome for the ceremonies. I also got to present a medal from the American Legion Post commemorating 9/11
