New York -- Collie Mathers displays his Shannon Gaels neckwear Tuesday evening at the Irish Consulate in New York, part of a throng of 100 or more to greet Jimmy Deenihan, Ireland's Minister of State for the Diaspora. The Shannon Gaels Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) Club was founded in April 2002 in Queens, New York. It is the only underage GAA club serving the children of Queens at all levels.
