This chart represents my ancestor's beginning with the Kievan Rus of Rurik/Ruaric. Scandanavian Rurik arrived in what became known as Russia after the word "Rus"- meaning "those who row." Obviously, this chart does not show Rurik himself, but it does show his russian descendents of the maternal line. On the paternal lineage was his grandson, Tierghnan (Little Lord) Rurik/Rourke who arrived in Breifne, Ireland
around the year 880.
