Syracuse, N.Y. -- A unique celebration of Irish culture in central New York state drew close to 300 individuals to Syracuse for an event that spanned 5 hours and three venues. The centerpiece was a screening of the Atom Films' documentary "The Irish Pub" at Syracuse's historic Landmark Theatre. After the screening, about a dozen filmgoers stayed behind for a chat with Atom Films' Alex Fegan, who directed the doc. With Fegan, right, is Geordie Austin, a mainstay of Central New York Irish Cultural Society, one of the event's sponsors.
