Ireland: Co. Mayo. Meelick Round Tower, located 6 km southwest of Swinford on a side road immediately over the Trimoge Bridge to the north of N5. Probably built around 1000 AD at the site of an ecclesiastical foundation attributed to Saint Broccaidh.
Vety nice! I have a friend who searches for round towers ever time he goes to Ireland. His wife is not as interested in them so he offsets his Round Tower passion with a woolen mills stop or two for her.
