Ireland: Co. Mayo. A tomb niche at Strade Friary. The Friary dates to the 14th century. The niche features magnificent carvings below the arch. The figure 4th from the left is of Christ, showing the wounds on his hands. The carvings date to around 1475. Land League founder Michael Davitt is buried just outside this friary.
