Looking at a winter sunrise from Connemara across Galway Bay to the brutally rugged hills of The Burren (County Clare). "Hy-Braefailth" was the Celts' / Gaels' version of the lost city of Atlantis. It was said that it could only be seen in the waves off Inis Mór (the largest of the three Aran Islands) once every seven years. It was also associated with Tír na nÓg (the Land of Youth).
