Dedicated to my maternal G-G-Granparents, Hugh J. and Margaret (Neilan) Ryan whose Irish parents brought them to America during the "Famine" in Ireland. Hugh joined the Union's Ohio 5th Volunteer Cavalry at age 19. They brought their daughter, "Daisy", to Las Vegas, New Mexico circa 1885 for her health and Hugh went to work for the Santa Fe Railroad where he remained 'til his death in 1930...
