Irish Brigade in French Service Colonels Colours

This is a White Dupion Silk, hand painted in oils. Tis is a reproduction of the standard all Wild Geese regiments Colonels Company carried while in French service. This was in Regimental was in service with the Irish from 1688-1791. Thanks to our Spanish friend for supplying the silk which is made in the 17th century manner. The image does not do this justice. Recently it was photographed at the Memorial at Fontenoy and Belgium TV also got it for their records. The flag was painted by Sean Ó Brógáin from Donegal. for more info contact: oireashs@yahoo.ie
