One of the first places I visited after I arrived in Dublin for my year of study. I traveled on a typically overcast autumn day, and it was quite chilly alongside Kevin's Bed. My presence there reinforced many emotions, which began stirring the moment I first arrived in Dublin via the Holyhead ferry. I felt a sense of continuity and reconnection with an extraordinarily rich heritage, something that has remained with me ever since.

It was an amazing experience for me, as well. I hadn't been there before I took this picture last summer, and I was in awe of the beauty and solitude the monks there were able to experience on a daily basis. I really would love to go back sometime soon :)
