The iconic Campanile (or bell tower) in Trinity College stands nearly 100 ft. tall, built in 1853. 4 figures at the base of the belfry represent divinity, science, medicine & law. Erected on what was believed to be the center of the original monastery. Superstition says that students who pass beneath it when the bells toll will FAIL their exams.
