A number of locations in Co. Wexford, Ireland have been used for an upcoming feature length film based on the Johgn Banville award-winning novel "The Sea".
The village of Ballygarrett is being transformed into a 1950’s style Irish village
A screenplay by John Banville, based on his 2005 The Man Booker prize winner, ‘The Sea’ is directed by Stephen Brown and stars Ciaran Hands, Sinéad Cusack, Rufus Sewell and Charlotte Rampling.

Photo I took in the village of Ballygarrett, Co. Wexford a few months ago when a film was being made which is based on John Banvilles award-winning novel "The Sea". The red-haired girl is Missy Keating - daughter of Ronan of Westlife fame!
