I believe O'Donnell is buried beside him.
Yes, two O'Donnells, (Hugh and Cathbarr, both sons of Aodh Ruaidh, who died in Spain) and the Great O'Neill's own son, also Hugh. There are at least 7 of their party buried here, but probably more.
I've just posted a blog today about it, on Hugh's anniversary.
So O'Neill and the O'Donnells are buried together?
recent research by the O'Donnell clan association claims that Red Hugh was not poisoned but died of ringworm.
