Though I've only just begun my research into my family's past, I've already been able to vigure out the various 'whys' and 'wherefores' as relates to how we ended up in France immediately after the signing of the Treaty of Limerick, and eventually ending up in Quebec, where my father was born, back in 1919. It's a real adventure making all the various connections on the way to piecing everything together. (I'm curious to see how far back I can go.)
