After the World Peace Jubilee, Gilmore moved everything to NYC and became Bandmaster for the 22nd Regiment NYC and rebuilding . He developed his musical organisation to a new level of professionalism and concentrated on new aspects of Entertainment never before seen in North America and even in Europe . One aspect of this as his 4 yr lease of Gilmore's Gardens . NYC at this time had in excess of 300 bands between NY and Brooklyn . Gilmore was by far the largest and most popular .
