Here is a photo of me with the president at the Irish Consulate when I was on the committee of IN-NYC, Irish Network in 2010. It was a memorable moment. I saw the photographer gathering up the committee members, but he only gathered the men around the president. So I stopped them and said, no, we need our female representatives in that photo as well, and I pushed the men aside so that the female committee members could stand directly next to Mary. She commented, "Well done, Tara."
