This doesn't rank up there with the classics by any means, but my kids saw this on Netflix and we watched it for a laugh and a huge laugh we got too! Here is the write up for "Grabbers" - it speaks for itself!
When an island off the coast of Ireland is invaded by bloodsucking aliens, the heroes discover that getting drunk is the only way to survive.
It is a 2012 movie that was filmed in Ireland with some better known Irish actors and some of the scenery is awesome, but we got a huge kick out of the dialogue in the movie! The IMDb page has this:
Crazy Credits
"The events and characters depicted in this motion picture are a mixture of fact, fiction and fiction that is a product of inference from fact."
If you can handle a bit of gore and it's not that bad, you'll have a good laugh. ;-)

'Grabbers' is good for what ages, would you say, Fran? Might watch it with some of our nieces and nephews, if appropriate.
I don't remember anything really inappropriate in this movie Gerry. We watched it with a couple of our adult children (21&27). The only thing I would say is that it's not for the young as it is a bit gorey with what the aliens do and how they look and that would be scary for kids and may cause nightmares, but I would give it a 13yr and up audience rating.
