My nomination for the most famous Irish person in the most famous film (where the fame of the actor is a function of the fame of the movie - or is it the other way around?).
Count John McCormack in Citizen Kane (the party scene in the paper office, with McCormack singing).

Haven't seen "Citizen Kane" in a very long while...It was shown in our Government class of all places...
I don't recall the scene...I will have to rent the film and watch for it
